The Heart Behind My Doula Madison
Meet Madison
I’m Madison, a full-spectrum, down-to-earth doula serving Western Connecticut.
I blend evidence-based knowledge with intuition to support positive birth experiences and calm, well-supported postpartum transitions. My style is grounded and adaptable. Sometimes that looks like being more hands-on, sometimes it’s quiet reassurance, and sometimes it looks like holding space for you as you move through labor and into postpartum.
I’m here to support new and seasoned families, ask the right questions, and make sure you never feel like you’re doing this alone.
I don’t think anyone needs a doula… but I do think everyone deserves one.
Before I became a doula, I worked as a menstrual health mentor - helping women in my community have better periods and access the resources for holistic reproductive heath and wellness.
It was through this work that I met a woman who told me I would make a good doula. Not long after, I began my training with Doula Trainings International and simply fell in love with birth work.
